Beers
Olde English 800
Made by Miller brewing company, was introducrted in 1964, but its origins go back to the 1940’s and Ruff’s Olde English Stout, brewed by Peoples Brewing Company out of Duluth, Minnesota.
It has an alcohol content of 7.7%, which is technically a malt liquor (which is a beer with alcohol content higher than 5% and made with malted barley).
In 2010, the 3.2% ABW version was rated as the “worst beer in the world” by the site, RateBeer.com.
Chimay White
Or Chimay Triple, is an 8% “tripel” that is brewed at the Chimay brewery, which is a Trappist monastery attended to by Trappist monks. It is one of only 14 Trappist breweries worldwide. They also make 4 types of cheeses.
They were founded in 1862 in Chimay, Belguim. There are 4 types of beers they produce, Chimay white, red, blue, and gold. The former 3 can be bought all over the world, the gold can only be bought at the actual Abbey.
